DevOps Implementation for WA Government Agency
EnerCloud is one of the selected companies for Common Use Arrangements for ICT Services within Western Australia government. CUAICTS2021).
EnerCloud was selected to help automating the deployment for one of the important website for Western Australian using AWS CDK.
The initiative had started prior to EnerCloud engagement with AWS professional service team provided initial Proof of Concept (PoC) and documentation. The government agency then engaged EnerCloud as trusted partner to leverage the initial PoC and implemented it Production.
The project took several months through small iterations, and the outcome is that the time for deployment is not reduced by more than 80% with much lower risk of mistakes due to minimum manual steps.
Green Field Application Development for SA Government Agency
EnerCloud is one of the selected companies to develop a state-wide web application in AWS native services
EnerCloud, in a competitive tender of more than 30 other suppliers, was selected to provide application development services to develop a web application to support all councils in South Australia.
The application was architected using over 10 different AWS services on top of the AWS Landing Zone securely configured to ensure compliance with the security framework.
EnerCloud worked closely with AWS team to go through the AWS Well-Architecture Framework review to ensure a robust implementation.
The project was executed in a hybrid waterfall and agile style to align with government agency project governance while enabling the business to iterate within the scope to ensure the best user experience and compliance with the regulation
Cloud Transformation Projects in Australia Energy Industry
EnerCloud has leveraged our team’s wholesale energy domain expertise to help our clients with development of their systems.
We were involved with a global private energy trading company to provide advisory services on the technology and delivery services to rebuild their trading systems in AWS. The system was developed as web applications which need to operate real time with low latency. EnerCloud had been engaged when the project did not progress within the expected velocity and provided the right guidance to the team to eventually delivered the system within the required time..
In the energy industry, EnerCloud was also involved as the trusted DevOps implementation partner for the electricity market operator in Australia as part of the $100 million reform program. The DevOps implementation involved over 20 distinct applications and the DevOps work was completed successfully in over one year to align with the Program’s go-live date.
